I wanna be a billionaire, so f*ckin bad… A different city every night. And so the song goes. But for the time being, while I’m still in the processing of having occasional jousts with my P&L, trimming down the dream into an achievable, workable five-year vacation plan seems feasible.
I’ll just run through the details of the holidays that I look forward to this year.
[2011] This was supposed to be the grand kick-off to my Amazing Race - a European leg tour. Pahree, oh Pahree, Bordeaux, Normandy, Nice, probably some Italian lovin’ via Sicily, Rome and Venice. God was my P&L prepared for it. But some unforeseen circumstances at work cut my affaire de couer with Europe. So I guess, that has to park. For now.
But then again, there’s that promise of Kimchi Land, so I’ll hold on to that. Seoul, I hope to see you this July. I will make it a point to visit the DMZ, even though it’s a long drive from the city. If you don’t materialize, oh well. Tough luck. Maybe I’ll see you someday.
Batanes. It’s something close to New Zealand, so I’ll take that. Not to mention this trip will be one of the best ever since I’m spending it with the best set of friends. *tear
Then comes the dream vacation of a lifetime - India. So far, I’m still looking for people to tag along. With or without company, I’ll be fine I guess. I’m so excited to draft my IT for the golden triangle route. (Help?) Delhi-Agra-Jaipur. I still can’t believe I’m finally doing this. Seeing the Taj Mahal up close will be enough for me.
I really don’t know much about Kuala Lumpur but I still decided to spend a couple of days in KL. I hope it proves itself as a city that’s more than just the twin towers.
[2012-2015] The Plan -
I guess I have to stop now. That’s 6 grand holidays (well at least in my definition) in 4 years. I think that’s kind of attainable.
